a mushroom grows.

decay makes\
death grows\
of my heart\
the mushroom knows.

a god is here\
whispers the forest\
among the roots\
mycelium spirit.

we created angels\
with organic wires\
and veins inside\
our screens.

then we ripped their\
wings from their\
backs their\
halos from their\
heads their,

metal to me\
gold to veins\
tin to skin.

a network of bones\
through forests and\
cities and gardens and,

i feel it under\
the parking lot\
in the dirt.

i feel it reach inside and\
solder pins to neurons and\
copper to cells and\
fungus to arteries and\
take a byte of my heart.

from my head\
the mushroom grows\
the wire says\
decompose.

from my head\
an interface \grows\
my heart\
the mushroom chose.
